Alana De La Garza, an amazing actress, is a legend in the film industry. De La Garza born 1976 to her Irish mother and a Mexican father, in Columbus Ohio. The family moved to Texas for the purpose of pursuing a career as an Occupational Therapist at the University of Texas. De La Garza didn't last long in Texas then moved into Orlando Florida where she experienced many acting opportunities such as local independent films and world-wide commercials. The small parts didn't stop her from discovering that she enjoyed acting. After 2001, she relocated into New York where her first part was in All My Children's morning soap opera in the role of Rosa Santos. She had minor roles on JAG: Las Vegas and Two and a Half Men during the first half of 2000. Her debut major show was The Mountain. The character was Maria Serrano and De La Garza had the privilege to star alongside some top TV actors including Barbara Hershey Oliver Hudson Penn Badgley Anson Mount and Mitch Pileggi. In 2006 she was also cast as A.D.A. in Law & Order. Connie Rubirosa. The actress was on the show for 85 episodes. Her character then flocked to the short-lived spin-off Law & Order: LA. De La Garza was nominated for several awards, including Best Supporting Actress on TV by Imagen Foundation Awards as well as a number of ALMA Award nominations.
